Nonlinear analyzes

Nonlinear analysis is a dynamically developing branch of simulation. During design, there are cases where the elastic limit is exceeded. You can then change the material or perform a nonlinear analysis. Autodesk has two programs to tackle this problem: Autodesk Simulation Mechanical and Autodesk Nastran In-CAD.

The programs have extensive material libraries that contain all the necessary parameters. Autodesk software gives us the ability to perform nonlinear time-variable analysis, which is a welcome feature these days.

Below we present the proposed solutions:

AUTODESK INVENTOR NASTRAN

Autodesk Inventor Nastran is a program that allows you to perform complete nonlinear analysis. It allows you to perform stress analysis and buckling analysis in the plastic range. Additionally, fatigue analysis. When performing the analysis, you can select the number of iterations of the performed calculations.

AUTODESK SIMULATION MECHANICAL

Using the Autodesk Simulation Mechanical software, you can perform a nonlinear strength analysis. As in the case of Nastran In-CAD, we have the option of performing a calculation analysis. An additional advantage of Simulation Mechanical is the ability to perform dynamic analyzes in the plastic range, which allows for obtaining additional information.
