AGH Solar Boat Team
MAT cooperation with AGH Solar Boat Team on the construction of zero-emission racing boats using 100% renewable solar energy.

AGH Solar Boat is an ambitious student project, whose members build zero-emission racing boats powered by solar energy. The team already has two racing boats: Baśka and Celka, as well as the autonomous R.O.B.U.R., currently the team is modernizing its structures and working on new boats.

Young engineers prove that new technologies not only support sustainable development but also enable them to achieve high results at international competitions such as the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge – the greatest competition of this kind in the world.

For several years, MAT has been supporting AGH Solar Boat Team in terms of technical, training and equipment (including HP workstations, and VR solutions).

The boat design is mainly created using the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection, which includes:

• Inventor Professional,
• AutoCAD,
• Inventor Nastran (the strength analysis module was used),
• Fusion 360 (a module of strength and thermal analyzes was used)
• In addition, the capabilities of Autodesk CFD (flow analyzes were carried out) and Autodesk Eagle (PCB design) are also used in the entire process,
