MAT supported Mechaton AGH 2024 – Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers

As MAT, we proudly supported the exceptional event Mechaton AGH 2024. This innovative competition took place on November 23 and brought together students passionate about mechanics, robotics, and modern technologies.
Mechaton is an event where participants must solve specific technical problems within a limited time, often competing in teams. It’s a great opportunity for young engineers to demonstrate their skills, creativity, and teamwork under demanding conditions.

Why did we support Mechaton AGH?

At MAT, we believe in investing in the younger generation and supporting their development. Mechaton AGH was an event that aligned perfectly with our mission of promoting innovation and advancing technical education.
This hackathon provided a platform for participants to:

  • Showcase creativity and an innovative approach to problem-solving,
  • Develop technical skills through hands-on experience,
  • Compete for industry recognition and attractive prizes.

Our goal was to support an initiative that motivates young engineers and demonstrates that advancing technology and nurturing talent are the foundations of the future.

MAT at Mechaton AGH 2024

During Mechaton AGH 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a booth, which was a great opportunity to connect directly with participants and guests at this inspiring event. On site, we:

  • Talked about internship, job, and career development opportunities at our company, answering questions from young engineers.
  • Showcased cutting-edge technologies such as VR goggles, which sparked great interest. 🌐
  • Inspired young engineers to keep developing their skills and take on new challenges.

Congratulations to the winners

The hackathon featured competitions in two categories: robotics and mechanics. We sincerely congratulate the winners:

  • Team “Dziadygi” for taking first place in the robotics category.
  • Team “Chłopcy WIMiRowcy” for winning in the mechanics category.

Prizes for the winners

As an event sponsor, MAT had the honor of awarding the winners of the mechanics category – team “Chłopcy WIMiRowcy” – with the opportunity to participate in one of our Autodesk Fusion software training sessions, which we hope will be a valuable step in their professional development.

Education meets industry

Mechaton AGH 2024 was a unique event that highlighted the importance of collaboration between education and industry. For MAT, it was a valuable experience that allowed us to support young talent and connect with future leaders in the tech field.
